Andrew Steele leads the worldwide marketing and business development
initiatives for Terayon Communication Systems, including strategic market
and business development, product marketing, product management and
corporate communications. With over 13 years of digital media and
communications experience, Andrew has led marketing, strategic business
development and corporate development for leading players in the digital
video, multimedia, communications, online and interactive advertising
sectors, and has created partnerships with industry giants such as Comcast,
AOL, FOX and NBC-Universal. Prior to joining Terayon, Andrew founded Steele
Consulting, delivering strategic business consulting services to clients
including Mailblocks - recently acquired by AOL - and Quinstreet, a leading
provider of online direct and paid search advertising and marketing
services. As Vice President of Sales at MetaTV, a pioneering interactive and
advanced television software platform developer, Andrew developed key
strategic relationships with customers such as Comcast, Cox Communications
and EchoStar, built revenue from zero into the millions, and helped raise
over $65M in venture and strategic funding. At Microsoft’s MSTV division,
Andrew managed the strategic business development initiatives including key
corporate acquisitions, IP licensing agreements and strategic investment in
cable operators around the world. Prior to his tenure at Microsoft, Andrew
held strategic business development and finance roles at MCI, Pratt
Industries and Johnson Controls.
Andrew has recently been a featured speaker at leading digital media
industry conferences, including the CONNECTIONS conference, Digital
Hollywood, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Entertainment Technology
Alliance, Satellite 2005 and Parks Associates' Fall Focus. He is on the
steering committee of the Innovations in Digital Advertising (ID!A) industry
working group, and a member of the National Academy of Arts & Sciences (NATAS)
Award Committee. Andrew received his Bachelor of Business Administration in
International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami and his MBA
from Georgia State University. |
