MARK JACOBS
CEO and President, Mythic Entertainment

Mark Jacobs is one of the earliest developers and publishers of massively multiplayer games beginning in 1985. Mr. Jacobs, a native of New York City, earned a Juris Doctorate in 1984 from Georgetown University Law Center, after graduating summa cum laude from Syracuse University. In addition to his duties as President/CEO of Mythic Entertainment, which he co-founded in 1995, Mr. Jacobs is one of the most experienced designers and programmers in the industry. He was recently cited by one columnist as one of the “pioneers and unsung heroes of the game industry”. Mr. Jacobs has over 18 years’ experience in the computer gaming industry, and his credits include some of the most popular online games of all time, including Dragon’s Gate, Rolemaster: Magestorm and Aliens Online and one of the best selling MMORPGs of all time, Dark Age of Camelot. Mark Jacobs is also the creator of a television series based on the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Dark Age of Camelot. Currently Mr. Jacobs is designing Mythic’s next MMORPG, Imperator and has recently completed a screenplay based on the game.
