Michael has been at the forefront of digital sports development for the past 8 years when he helped Turner Broadcasting assume the operation and production of NASCAR.COM. As part of the senior interactive team, he drove the design and development of the official site for NASCAR and several of its online products, transforming it from a PR-oriented league site to a comprehensive, digital NASCAR destination with original feature programming seven days a week and innovative live presentations.
With a focus on shaping the online experiences of major league sports to harness their untapped potential and better connect them with fans everywhere, Michael also led the launch teams for the PGA of America (PGA.COM), the PGA Tour (PGATOUR.COM) and, most recently, the NBA (NBA.COM). Under his guidance, each sports has introduced some of the most innovative, interactive products in online sports and generated millions in year-over-year subscription and advertising revenue – including the NBA’s most successful online product: League Pass Broadband, PGA TOUR’s breakthrough Shot Tracker, numerous innovations for the online coverage of golf through the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP and the Emmy-Award winning live racing application TrackPass.
Prior to Turner, Michael served as Executive Creative Director for iXL’s Atlanta-based headquarters - one of the Top 5 web consulting giants that flourished during the late ‘90s internet explosion. His cross-disciplined approach to fusing business objectives with creative-led strategies and the use of new technologies powered the complete restructuring of BellSouth’s online consumer experience – tying together several products and business units into a unifying design and architecture. In addition, he led a multi-year research and development effort of a full broadband network prototype in 2000.
Michael has received awards in arenas ranging from original animation programming to new media creative development. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the Ball State University School of Journalism.

WeatherBug, Chris Brozenick leads the diverse and growing mobile and navigation related business of the company. Chris is responsible for developing the mobile strategic plan; driving the business development/partner programs and for the overall P&L of the mobile division.
Chris joined WeatherBug in 2004 to start and lead the mobile and wireless initiatives. In 2006 he became the Vice President of the newly formed mobile group. While in this role, Chris led the efforts to drive the overall mobile strategy; manage relationships with carriers such as Verizon, Alltel and Sprint; and create partnerships with key manufacturers and providers including Apple, Nokia, RIM, Samsung, Navteq, Microsoft, Google and others. Since 2006, WeatherBug Mobile has become one of the most accessed content categories across a number of carriers and the company has won several awards from industry groups for its innovation and quality of its applications. In 2009, Chris oversaw the efforts as WeatherBug launched new applications for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry Smartphones. These applications quickly became some of the most successful ever launched on those platforms, achieving “Top 10” status after launch.
Prior to joining WeatherBug, Chris was Senior Director of Product Marketing at Acterna (now JDSU, Inc.) where he had a ten year career in product management and marketing in the emerging wireless and fiber optic communications markets. In his increasing roles at Acterna, Chris was responsible for setting the strategy and product road-map for one of Acterna’s largest and most successful business lines (transmission test) which grew over 100% during his tenure with product revenues in excess of $200 million annually.

Shawn G. DuBravac, CFA is the Economist for the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) where he directs CEA's economic analysis. He is responsible for handling analysis of the economy as it relates to the consumer electronics industry including forecasting future economic activity, econometric studies, examining trade flows, and ascertaining relative health of the industry. DuBravac also provides research into the technology trends underpinning the industry and quantitative support for CEA’s legislative initiatives.
Prior to joining CEA, DuBravac was head research analyst in the Economic Analysis Group of the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. He holds economic degrees with Highest Honors from Brigham Young University and George Mason University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of both the CFA Society of Washington, DC and the National Association of Business Economists. Jim Eadie is Vice President of Digital Distribution for MTV Networks. Lafferty was also CEO of NBC’s Olympics joint venture, where he led multiple vendors to develop alternative security solutions for a satellite-delivered mini-subscription PPV signal, as well as oversaw cable and broadcast affiliate marketing. Prior to that, as GE Americom VP of Cable Services, he contributed to GE Astro’s new fleet development and deployment, generating $445 million in sales to television programmers in 18 months. Over seven years at APTS, Lawson secured funding, policy support, and business alliances that ensured the digital conversion of public stations, deployment of a next-generation interconnection system, and new services to the American public.
In 2005, Lawson negotiated the most extensive agreement in the history of the broadcasting industry for the carriage of multiple digital programming streams on America's cable systems. In partnership with the Department of Homeland Security, Lawson pioneered the development of the Digital Emergency Alert System for the nation. He led efforts that obtained the first federal support for The American Archive, a project to digitize endangered collections of video and audio tape.
A leader of Americas successful conversion to digital-only TV broadcasting, Lawson was an original organizer of the DTV Transition Coalition, which grew to 214 member organizations and helped prepare consumers for the digital conversion. He served on the boards of the National Association of Broadcasters, the Association for Maximum Service Television, and the Media Institute.
In October 2009, Lawson was appointed by the FCC chairman to the Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council. He previously served on the FCC's Commercial Mobile Service Alert Advisory Committee and the Media Security and Reliability Council, both established after 9/11. He also served on the board of the National Coalition for Technology in Education and Training.
From 1993-2001, Lawson owned and managed Convergence Services, Inc. in its prior manifestation, a consulting and lobbying firm that focused on educational technology and digital media. Previously, he was the award-winning director of public information at the South Carolina ETV Network.
